Dover Heritage Day is held the third Saturday in June of each year.  For 2009, it will be the evening of June 19th, and Saturday June 20th.

4pm-till the chicken's all gone:  Sommerset Hall Fried Chicken Dinner

6:30 pm:  Kid's Pedal Tractor-Pull Contest at the Ball Diamond (free)

7:00-8:30 Chalk Drawing Contest Grades 1-9-following pedal pull

8:00 pm:  Old School Square Dance at Dover Community Center, hosted by Patchwork Jamboree

come at 7:30 for a refresher. Freewill donation, Homemade Ice Cream

Dover 4-H serving concessions at DCC from 6:30-8:00

Saturday, June 20th

7 - 10 am:  Pancake Feed, Dover Volunteer Fire Dept station

7:30 am:  Fun Run/Walk, begins at intersection

9 am - 3 pm:  Festival on Community Bldg Grounds

9 am - 4 pm:  Open Quilt Show, cafeteria

9 am - 4 pm:  Antique Cars and Tractors on Display around Community Center building

9 am - 7 pm:  History Room, Community Center

9:30 am:  Turtle Races, Ball Diamond

10:30 Girls Novice Softball Game 

Kid's Activities 10:00-1:00 Train Rides, Craft Room, Pony Rides, Dunk Tank, Etc.

4:00-8:00 Inflatables, Train rides, etc.  $5.00 wrist band covers all day

Kid's Parade-Registration 12:30/Start 1:00.  In front of Community Center, End in front of Sommerset Cafe.  THEME:  Red, White, and Blue

Main Parade-Registration 12:30, Parade starts immediately following Kids Parade

Sand Volleyball Tournament 2:30-to register call Abby at 256.6531. $10.00 per team

Horse Pull 2:30

Pie Baking Contest-4:00 inside DCC. Bring your best creme, fruit, or one crust pie to be judged by "Norma the Pie Queen".  All pies will be donated to the dinner.

Garden Tractor Pull:  4:00-????

Dinner 5:00-7:00 Dover Community Center Gym

Dessert donations appreciated.  $6.00 10 and up-, kids $3.00.
